Danielle Fierro is an alumni of the Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in illustration and minors in creative writing and art history (‘21). She is a NYC illustrator specializing in fairytale and book illustration. She also designs book covers and fashion illustrations. Her work is created through both traditional and digital mediums and typically characterized by delicate linework. She likes to work with watercolor and graphite and often uses floral motifs in her illustrations to either frame the composition or act as symbols to the stories being told in her work. She has been honored by publications such as 3x3 magazine. Her oil painting “Cameron with Butterflies” was one of the merit winners for issue no. 17 of 3x3 magazine. She is currently working as a freelance illustrator and she was commissioned to illustrate the children’s book The Sfogliatelle Fell. The Sfogliatelle Fell by Louis S.
